Puppy Training Starter Kit
Rewards, play and those first little wins.
Bringing home a puppy is exciting, but knowing what you need to get started can feel a little overwhelming. There's so much advice out there about what to buy, what to teach and what your puppy should be doing.
As a trainer in training, I'm learning more about puppy development, reward-based training and the everyday things that help dogs and their people navigate life together. I've put this bundle together with products I'd be happy to recommend to owners in my own puppy class.
It brings together a handy treat pouch, a selection of tasty rewards and a rope toy for interactive play. Practical puppy training essentials to help you get started with rewarding the behaviours you like, discovering what motivates your puppy and building positive experiences together.
No need to build your own bundle from scratch. I've brought some useful bits together so you can spend less time choosing and more time getting to know your puppy.
What's included?
Treat pouch | Choose your colour
Keep rewards close to hand when you need them, whether you're practising at home, in the garden or out and about. Having treats ready makes it easier to reward those little moments when your puppy gets something right.
200g tube of pâté
A versatile reward for your puppy's treat collection. Use it in suitable ways during training or spread it onto an appropriate lick mat for a different activity.
Four small sausages | Choose your flavours
Tasty, easy-to-portion rewards for training sessions. Break them into smaller pieces where appropriate, so one sausage can go a little further.
Pack of cod fingers
A fishy addition to your puppy's treat selection, giving you another flavour to try when discovering what your puppy enjoys.
Pack of single-protein training treats
Convenient little rewards for everyday practice. Having different options available can help you discover which treats your puppy finds most motivating.
Rope toy
Training isn't all about food! Use the rope toy for supervised interactive play and discover whether a game together is another rewarding way to engage with your puppy.
What can you use your Puppy Training Starter Kit for?
-
Getting to know your puppy: Discover what they enjoy, what motivates them and how they like to interact with you.
-
Puppy classes: Keep rewards close to hand and have a few different options ready to use during your reward-based training sessions. Your trainer can help you work out which rewards are most useful for your puppy and the exercises you're practising.
-
Rewarding the little things: Have suitable rewards ready when your puppy checks in with you, engages with you or makes a choice you'd like to encourage.
-
Building positive experiences: Make everyday learning enjoyable, whether you're practising at home or introducing your puppy to new experiences at their own pace.
-
Finding their favourite treats: Every puppy is different. A selection of flavours and textures gives you options to discover what works for yours.
-
Playtime together: Introduce supervised games with the rope toy and discover whether a game together is another rewarding way to engage with your puppy.
You don't need to teach everything at once. Puppyhood isn't a race to tick off a list of skills. Give your puppy time to grow, learn about the world and develop at their own pace. Keep sessions positive and celebrate those little wins.
Why choose a Natural Paw puppy bundle?
Puppyhood comes with plenty of questions, and the endless lists of things you're told to buy can make it difficult to know where to start.
At Natural Paw, we're all about practical products for real life with dogs. As a trainer in training, I'm bringing together what I'm learning with my own experience of life with Binx to help owners make informed choices about the products they use with their dogs.
This bundle reflects the sort of practical essentials I'd recommend to owners in my own puppy class: useful rewards, a way to keep those rewards close at hand, and a toy for interactive play.
Whether you're preparing for your puppy's arrival or looking for a thoughtful gift for a new puppy parent, it's a handy way to bring some early essentials together.
Less pressure to get everything right. More time to enjoy learning together.
Feeding and safety guidance
Suitable for puppies over 12 weeks of age.
Follow the individual feeding instructions for each product. Introduce new treats gradually, supervise your puppy when feeding and account for treats within their daily diet.
Supervise play with the rope toy, check it regularly for damage and remove it if it becomes worn or pieces start to come loose. No toy is indestructible.
